BAKED FETA PASTA

Baked feta pasta is a deliciously simple dish that combines creamy feta with pasta, making it the perfect comfort food for a busy weeknight.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams feta cheese
  • 300 grams penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a baking dish, combine cherry tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place the feta cheese in the center of the dish.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes or until the tomatoes are blistered and the feta is softened.
  5. While the feta and tomatoes are baking, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions.
  6. Once cooked, drain the pasta and add to the baking dish with the feta and tomatoes.
  7. Mix everything together until combined.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil.

Notes

  • For a creamier sauce, mix in a splash of pasta water when combining.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like spinach or zucchini.
