  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine baking soda, baking powder, salt, and whole wheat flour.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • These muffins are best served fresh, but they can also be stored for later.
  • Add nuts for extra crunch.
