  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup cold butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch.
  3. Place apple mixture into the pie crust, dot with butter.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, oats, and cold butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over the apples.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool before serving.
