A delicious side dish combining honey glazed carrots and green beans with the savory flavor of turkey bacon.

  • 2 cups sliced carrots
  • 2 cups green beans
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  2. In the same skillet, add butter and melt over medium heat.
  3. Add carrots and green beans, stirring for 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in honey and soy sauce, then add black pepper and garlic powder.
  5. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  6. Stir in chopped turkey bacon before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • Use fresh vegetables for the best texture.
