  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  8. While cookies cool, prepare the frosting by beating together butter, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
  9. Frost the cooled cookies with cinnamon frosting.
