Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta of choice
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, packed in oil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté until fragrant.
  4. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and cook for a few minutes.
  5. Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Mix in the Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce and add fresh basil.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • For a vegan version, substitute heavy cream and cheese with plant-based alternatives.
