Yaki Udon: Easy Stir-Fried Noodles with Turkey Bacon and Veggies

Yaki Udon (Japanese Stir Fries Udon Noodles)

A delicious and easy recipe for Yaki Udon featuring turkey bacon and fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces udon noodles
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Cook the udon noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  3. In the same pan, add sesame oil, bell peppers, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Combine the cooked udon noodles and turkey bacon with the veggies. Add soy sauce and toss to coat.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like bok choy or carrots.
  • This dish can be made vegetarian by omitting turkey bacon.
